On Staurday 15 April the Group was invited to set up a stall at the Health & Wellness Expo being held at St Aldates Church Gloucester and organised by the Seventh Day Adventist Community Group.

Mike Coombs, Jay McCaffery and Mike Broome attended and duly set up our stall along with other groups and organisations covering such issues as dental health, dementia, Prostate Cancer and organ donor awareness and others.

Unfortunately the event was not well attended but we did talk to a few people and also made some useful contacts amongst the other groups present, including a possible future speaker to the Group.

Also we talked to a district nurse and GP who where not aware of the Group and they were very interested in what we do and took away some of our leaflets to give to their diabetes patients, so hopefully we may get some new members.

Whilst we did not talk to many visitors , it was a useful event as far as the Group went in making contacts and raising awareness of the Group.
